We’re excited to share that GoAnywhere 6.1 is now available for download! The newest version of our managed file transfer solution includes over 30 new features, such as X12 data translation and a built-in data mapping tool for centralized encryption and EDI, along with many additional enhancements that our customers have requested.
Many of our GoAnywhere customers have asked what’s new and different in 6.1. What do you get if you upgrade? Here’s a quick summary.
What’s New in GoAnywhere 6.1
X12 data translation. Easily read, write, and map X12 and XML files between databases. GoAnywhere 6.1 adds X12 data translation to our current EDI capabilities, giving you a browser-based data mapping wizard for mapping shipping orders, purchase orders, and more.
Many traditional EDI file translation tools are complex and time-consuming to set up. With these built-in features, you can handle MFT and EDI in one easy-to-use solution for more efficiency and less cost.
Centralize Your X12 EDI File Translation:
Service-level agreement (SLA) monitoring. Make sure that transfers from trading partners or other critical activities happen in a timely manner. If actions don’t occur in an expected timeframe, the new SLA monitoring feature in Advanced Reporting will send email alerts or call workflows.
Built-in SMS and email one-time passwords. Authenticate users securely with an additional factor directly from GoAnywhere – no need to use a separate 3rd party application for multi-factor authentication.
Tamper-evident logging. If someone modifies audit logs in the GoAnywhere database, it will show up as altered so you can take appropriate action.
Auto-scaling and scripted deployments for cloud. If you’ve deployed GoAnywhere in the cloud, GoAnywhere supports scaling up when your CPU or memory goes beyond a set threshold so you can support business activity during busy or peak seasons.
More granular administrator permissions. New in GoAnywhere 6.1, you can set permissions for more granular actions, such as add, update, delete, view, and more; as well as objects you would like users to be able to access, such as users or the password reset option.
Docker support. GoAnywhere MFT now officially supports Docker. Check out the GoAnywhere Install Guide in the Customer Portal for installation instructions.
Support for PeSIT. Many of our European customers (especially in France) are required to use the PeSIT protocol in order to do business. In GoAnywhere 6.1, you can transfer files over TCP and SLL using PeSIT.
5 Free Secure Mail Licenses. You can now get five free users of Secure Mail at no additional cost. Just reach out to your sales representative, and we’ll update your license for you.
